Merrill Kathleen Prince Wood

Merrill Kathleen Prince Wood, 74, of South Fork Drive, formerly of Redwine Street, died Thursday, October 08, 2015, at Lexington Health Care. A Funeral Service will be 2 P.M. Saturday, at Rolling Heights Faith Baptist Church where she was a member. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park with the Rev. Wayne Sechrest officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:30 to 1:30 prior to the service. She was born in Polk County Virginia to William Henry Prince and Lena Hampton Prince. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Raymond James Wood: Brothers, Clifford and Winston Prince and sisters, Mildred Golden, Pauline Elliott, Madelyn DuVaul and Wanda Tysinger. Surviving are many loving nieces and nephews.
