Mervin Sydney Draughon

Mervin Sydney Draughon, 75, of Lexington, passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Pine Ridge Nursing Center.

No service is planned at this time. The family will hold their memories made together close to their hearts.

Mr. Draughon was born in Brisbane, Australia on February 7, 1943 to Marvin and Margaret Marnes.

He was a veteran, and served as an Army Ranger with the U.S. Army during his enlistment. Mr. Draughon retired from Southern Railways.

Mervin was preceded in death by his parents.

Mr Draughon is survived by his sons, David Draughon (Stephanie Dillion) of Clemmons; and Daniel Draughon; one daughter, Melissa Draughon; his grandchildren; a brother Alek Draughon; and sister, Patricia Rupuard (Eddie) of Jonesville, NC.
