Michael Anthony Briggs

Michael Anthony Briggs, 46 passed away early Wednesday morning on January 4, 2012 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday at Reedy Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Egbert Craven, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Michael was born on December 12, 1965 in Davidson County to Anthony “Tony” Cleo Briggs and Daisy Temple Briggs. He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother Daisy Temple Briggs; one brother, Scott Briggs and wife Ann of Clemmons; one sister, Tonya Briggs -Younts and husband Stan of Winston-Salem; nieces, Victoria “Lynn” Briggs and Emilee Caroline Briggs both of Clemmons. The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the Limb Preservation Unit and Staff, Dr. Timothy Vogler with Novant Hospital as well as Dr. “Gen” Wroblewski and staff at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice House. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be sent to the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
