Michael Alex Doby

Michael Alex Doby, 53, of Lexington, died Friday November 29, 2019 at his home.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday at Westlawn Gardens of Memory, with Rev. Frankie Matthews conducting the service.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Wednesday, December 4th at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.

Mr. Doby was born June 21, 1966 in Genesse County Michigan to Wilford Dean Doby and Virginia Fay Bauguess Mckinnon. Michael graduated from West Forsyth and Forsyth Tech. He was employeed with Walnut Cove Health And Rehabilatation, and was an avid deer hunter. He was preceded in death by his father.

Surviving is his mother; a son Brandon Doby of Greensboro: two brothers, William Doby (April) of Florida and Dennis Spear of Winston Salem; two sisters, Ruth Craft (John) of Lexington and Karen Scott (Mike) of Mebane; and 1 granddaughter Alexis Jade Doby, and Dana Graham (Brandon’s mother).
