Michael Shane Farabee

Michael Shane Farabee, age 38 of Leonard Road, Salisbury went to be with the Lord Saturday (12-15-2007) after a sudden illness. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday (12-20-2007)at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Larry Peterson and Mr. Scott Rhodes, burial will follow in Galilee Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Michael was born in Davidson County December 27, 1968 to Robert Lee Farabee and Jean Ashburn Farabee. He was of the Baptist Faith and was employed with Scott Rhodes Masonry. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Lee Farabee and Step-Father Bobby Ray Pickler. Surviving are: his loving soul mate of 14 years Jennifer Franks, Mother; Jean Farabee Pickler of Salisbury, Son; Michael Grant Farabee and wife Jamie of Magnolia, NC, Brothers; Robert Lee Farabee, Jr. and wife Emily and Robert Shane Farabee all of Linwood, Grandaughter; Kaylee Lynn Farabee, Niece; Megan Farabee. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends, and his faithful companion “Buddy”. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home.
