Michael Howard Guy

Michael Howard Guy, 49, of Potts Creek Road, died Tuesday, November 10, 2009, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday, November 13, 2009, at Forest Hill Memorial Park with Preacher Clyde Akers officiating. Mr. Guy was born January 16, 1960, in Philadelphia, Pa., to Francis Demott Guy and Jean Caswell Guy. He was employed with Summer Industries. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Guy. Surviving are his fiance’, Thelma Brindle of the home; son, Michael Howard Guy II of California; stepson, Steven Marlow of Lexington; daughters, Jessica Robbinson of Lexington and Melanie Guy of the home; stepdaughter, Shannon Marlow of Lexington; six grandchildren, Tylor Robbinson, Hunter Robbinson, Savannah Watts, Anissa Marlow, Leland Watts and Lindsay Hayden; brothers, David Guy and Kevin Guy, both of Lexington; and sisters, Cynthia Dougherty of New Bern, Sharon Johnson of Louisiana, Judith May of Florida, and Joyce Whitaker of Lexington. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel.
