Michael Vaughn Higgins

Michael Vaughn Higgins, age 61 of Rolling Park Drive, Lexington passed away Tuesday night (January 25, 2011). Memorial service will be held 10:00 am Saturday (January 29, 2011) at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church with Father Al Gondek officiating.   The family will receive friends at the church Friday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 pm   Michael was born in Surry County, May 29, 1949 to Vaughn William Higgins and Mary Quincy Moody Higgins.  He was a retired employee of Oracle Packing Company. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church; and was a volunteer with West Davidson High School Football program.  He was preceded in death by his parents.   Surviving are: wife, Patricia Huber Higgins of the home; two sons, Eric Higgins and girl friend Cami Harding and Matthew Higgins and wife Cindy Duke Higgins all of Lexington; one granddaughter, Madison Higgins.   Memorials should be directed to Athletic Department of West Davidson High School, 200 Dragon Drive, Lexington, NC 27295     Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
