Michael Kelly

Michael Fant Kelly, 63, of Lexington passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at his home.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington.

Mr. Kelly was born in Los Angeles County, CA on July 6, 1956 to William Richard Kelly and Elizabeth Mallard Kelly. He was a retired mechanic, having worked for High Point Automotive and was a loving husband, father and grandfather whose memory will be cherished forevermore. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill and Tommy Kelly; and one sister, Margaret Blevins.

Surviving are his loving wife, Susan Steele Kelly of the home; three sons, Dustin Kelly (Sandra) of Toronto, Richard Kelly of Charleston, SC and Roger Kelly of Lexington; two daughters, Linda Kelly of Statesville and Suzanne Shiver (Devin) of McDonough, GA; two sisters, Linda Carter and Carol Hill both of Trinity; six grandchildren, Aidan Lewis, Cade Lewis, Ian Lewis, Abel Lewis, Karissa Shiver and Chase Shiver; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to the Gary Sinise Foundation at PO Box 368, Woodland Hills, CA 91365 in honor of our nation’s veterans.
