Michael "Mike" Ray Tarleton

Michael “Mike” Ray Tarleton, 63, of Rockcrusher Road, died Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at his home. A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Monday, May 18, 2015, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chris Bennett officiating. Inurnment will follow at a later date at Greer’s Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from noon to 1 p.m. prior to the service. Mr. Tarleton was born June 27, 1951, in Davidson County, to Hoyle Jefferson Tarleton and Betty Barber Tarleton. He was a self-employed carpenter and of the Methodist faith. His father preceded him in death. Surviving are his mother of the home; son, Casey M. Tarleton and wife Kristy of Lexington; daughter, Angie Tarleton of Moorehead City; grandchildren, Jackson Tarleton, Hunter Jordan and Tanner Jordan; and sister, Jeffrey Brown and husband Allen of Thomasville.
