Michael Warren Shelton

Mr. Michael Warren Shelton, 70, of Winston-Salem passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, November 21, 2022. A celebration of life will be at a later date.

He was born July 9, 1952, in Winston- Salem to Cecil Warren Shelton and the late Gaynelle George Shelton. Mr. Shelton graduated from East Forsyth High School and worked as a self-employed general contractor with Compressed Air Systems and Custom Systems, Inc. He retired in 2017 after spending his lifetime working on air compressors, HVAC, and various other building projects. In his spare time, he loved hunting, golfing, drag racing and spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Cathy Shelton. Two children, Aleta Shelton of Winston Salem and Stephanie Beerbhajan (Lenny) of Kannapolis. His two grandchildren, Taryn Weavil and Camden Beerbhajan. Also surviving are his father of Winston Salem, two brothers, Steve Shelton, and David Shelton (Denise) and a sister, Lisa Atkins (Kevin) and his furry best friend, Jax.
