Michael “Mick” Vance Wilhoit (1988-2024)

Michael “Mick” Vance Wilhoit, 35, of Winston Salem, NC, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024, following complications of a brief illness.

Mick was born in Thomasville, NC on June 12, 1988, to Angela Wilhoit Peterson. Mick wielded his impressive charisma and uncontainable personality to provide for him and his wife as a prolific salesman.

Mick valued his found family of friends that encouraged him and bonded with him over all his varied interests. Some of those interests include, but are not limited to Batman, Star Wars, the Red Sox, premium bourbon, elite professional wrestling, and trivia.

Mick was preceded in death by his Two-Mama, Betty Wilhoit, grandfather, Alvin Wilhoit, and step-father, Jordan Peterson. He is survived by his loving and patient wife, Rebecca Wilhoit, mother Angela Wilhoit Peterson, and sister Kristen Vaughan.

Mick’s larger than life presence will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree on Thursday, May 23. 2024 between 6-8 pm.
