Michele Dale Holifield

Michele Dale Holifield, 50, of Lexington, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2022, at Forsyth Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, August 19, 2022, at Davidson Funeral Home with Preacher Clyde Akers officiating. Burial will follow at the family cemetery.

Visitation with family and friends will be held from 12 PM until 2 PM prior to the service.

Ms. Holifield was born November 3, 1971, in West Chester, Pennsylvania, to Roger Dale Holifield and Darlene Chandler Holifield. She loved doing crafts and gardening; but above all else, she had a heart for people. Michele was a mother to anyone she encountered and was always there as a listening ear. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one son, Jayden Gray.

Surviving is her partner, James Allen Houck of the home; two daughters, Morgan Houck of Lexington, and Mackenize Houck of Lexington; two sons fathered by Josh Gray, Jordan and Jayven Gray; her mother; one brother, Matthew Holifield (Ali) of Tennessee; one sister, Melanie Holifield of Lexington; two grandchildren, Nova Hill, and Kohlson Stone. Also surviving are two nieces, Megan and Shana.
