Mikie Phillips

Theodore (Mikie) Phillips 62 of Captain Drive, Lexington passed away Monday October 4, 2010 at his home. A Funeral service will be 9:00 am Friday  October 8, 2010 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel  conducted by Minister Sammy Allison with  burial to follow at 11:00 am at Salisbury National Cemetery.   The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6-8 pm Thursday night and at other times at the home.   Mr. Phillips was born January 8, 1948 in Buchannan County Virginia to Michael Phillips and Clara Hall Phillips. He was formerly employed with Donald Brown Construction prior to his disability. He honorably served his country in the US Army. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Lois Redwine and Shirley Kuenzei.   Surviving are his wife Kathy Essick Phillips of the home. Three sons, Michael Phillips and fiancé Brittany Baker, Larry Phillips and fiancé Chastity Clontz and Edgar (Bubba) Essick all of Lexington. Two Grandchildren, Autumn Phillips and KamDyn Phillips of Lexington.
