Mildred Allene Binkley Spach

Mildred Allene Binkley Spach, age 92 of Liberty Nursing and Rehab Center went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, (February 29, 2012). A graveside service will be held at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens on Sunday, March 4, at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Bob McCaskill officiating. There will be no public visitation. Mildred was born in Forsyth County on January 3, 1920 to Jacob and Daisy Gurley Brinkley. She had retired from Zabo Foods at R J Reynolds. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Harvey Sanford Spach, Sr., one brother Charles Binkley and a daughter Patricia Ann Everhart. Surviving are two sons, Larry Spach and wife Sandra of Charlotte, Harvey Spach, Jr. and wife Pat of Winston-Salem; seven grandchildren, Kathy Everhart, Winfred Everhart, Randall Everhart, Michael Spach and wife Teresa, Pamela Hurley and husband Greg, Sharon Marion and husband Keith, David Spach and wife Pam. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Billy Graham Evangelisitic Association, 1 Billy Graham Parkway, Charlotte, NC 28201. The family would like to thank the staff at Liberty Nursing for their loving care these past years and especially Tammy Bridges. Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
