Mildred Simpson Everhart

Mildred Louise Simpson Everhart, 90, of Salem Street, died Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at Lexington Health Care. A funeral service will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at Davidson Funeral Home by the Rev. J. Randy Hall. Burial will follow in Lexington City Cemetery . Mrs. Everhart was born in Davidson County on Aug. 22, 1920, to John Wesley Simpson and Vertie Kinley Simpson. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Everhart, Sr.; sons Danny Parker Everhart and Woodrow Everhart Jr.; her parents; and sister Doris Simpson. Surviving is her loving caregiver, Jamie Collins of Wilmington; granddaughter Sarah Parker Everhart of Greensboro; and dear friends, Tacoma Hawkins and Joyce Price. The family would like to thank the staff of Lexington Health Care for their loving care of Mildred.
