Mildred Elizabeth Lemly, age 85, of Hill Everhart Road, died Thursday, June 14, 2012, at Hinkle Hospice House.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 16, 2012, in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Frankie Matthews officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Lemly was born October 30, 1926, in Davidson County, to Obe Lee Wrenn and Maude Surratt Wrenn. She was a former employee of PPG Industries and a member of Sheets Memorial Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Ernest Lemly, on March 24, 1981; daughters, Linda Lemly and Peggy King; brother, Dwight Wrenn; sisters, Daisy Fritts, Willie Mae Hartley.
Surviving are son, Calvin Lemly and wife Vicki of Lexington; daughter, Marian Comer and husband Roger of Lexington; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Betty Beck of Southmont.
