Mildred G. Myers, 83 of Lexington Health Care, formerly of NC Hwy 150 died Thursday January 1, 2009 in Lexington Health Care after declining health of several years.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 2:00 PM at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel with the Revs. J. C. Miles and Nathan Snider. Burial will follow at Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Myers was born in Davidson County on April 3, 1925 to Lee F. Grubb and Lena Feezor Grubb. She was retired for Burlington Furniture and was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Myers in 1992 and sisters, Phodey Flynn; Mavis Rich; Faye Myers; Mary Byerly and Hazel Regan.
Surviving are daughter, Dianne Miles and husband J. C. of Lexington; grandchildren, Jay Miles and wife, Nikki, Jason Miles and wife, Gabby, and Jeremy Miles, all of Lexington; and great grandchildren Kayla Miles, Cody Miles and Gabe Miles.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM Saturday at Davidson Funeral Home and at other times at the home of the daughter, 1964 S. NC Hwy 150
