Millie Ann Younts

Millie Ann Evans Younts, lovingly known as “Mimi,” passed away on December 9, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on May 5, 1956, Millie lived a life defined by compassion and selfless devotion to others.

Millie had a rare gift for caring deeply and loving fully. She spent her life tending to the needs of those around her, offering comfort, encouragement, and quiet strength without ever asking for recognition. Her faith guided the way she lived and loved, and she found meaning in serving others through everyday acts of kindness, patience, and care. She found great joy and peace in her gardens, lovingly tending plants and flowers as she did the people in her life, and she cherished the companionship of her two beloved cats, who brought her constant comfort.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, and her family was the center of her world. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Greg Younts; her daughters, Amy Younts-Meredith (Seth), Allison Younts Kirkman (Brad), and Erin Younts Downing (Brent); her cherished grandchildren, Emma Owens (Austin), Banks Downing, and Brock Downing; her brother, Cecil ‘Jim’ Evans Jr (Jeanie); and countless nieces, nephews, and extended family who meant the world to her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen Canady Evans and Cecil Evans.

Millie’s legacy lives on in the love she poured into others and the countless lives she touched through her generosity, faith, and unwavering care.

A private service will be held by the family.
