Mindi Wooten Freeman, age 45 of Wafford Circle Lexington passed away suddenly Saturday afternoon (March 14, 2015) at Lexington Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday at Central Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Perdue officiating. Burial will be at 3:30 pm Tuesday at Harmony Grove Friends Cemetery in Yadkinville. The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00am until 1:00 pm prior to the service.
Mindi was born in Surry County January 24, 1970 to James Franklin and Bobbie Hobson Wooten. She was assistant Director of Little Heart Strings Daycare; member of Central Baptist Church and a graduate of Davidson County Community College.
She is survived by her husband, Kevin D. Freeman of the home; daughters, Miranda and Lindsay Freeman of the home; step-daughter, Elainie Victoria Grove of Lexington; mother and step-father, Bobbie Hobson Wilmoth and Joel Wilmoth of Yadkinville; father and step-mother, James Franklin Wooten and Wanda Craver Wooten of Clemmons; sister, Ginger Wilmoth Shore (Levi) of Elkin; nephew, Silas Shore of Elkin; half-sister, Elizabeth Byerly Alley (Chuck) of Winston Salem.
