Minnie Warner Beane of Winston-Salem, passed away Monday March 14, at her residence after a sudden illness.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday March 16 at Parklawn Memorial Park, conducted by Rev. Bernard Adams, pastor of Salem Baptist Church in Lexington.
Minnie was born July 9, 1927, in Forsyth County to Edward Gray Warner and Ida Cody Warner. She was a homemaker and a partner with her husband David L. Beane Jr. in several businesses. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband who died March 20th 1998, and sisters Mattie Bowles, Louise Smith, Laura Frances Burrow, and Betty Duncan.
Surviving Minnie are son David Beane III and wife Barbara of Winston Salem; brothers Robert Warner of Yadkinville, N.C. and Eddie Warner and wife Laura
of East Bend, N.C.; sisters Annie Flowers and husband William “Super” of Winston-Salem, and Charlotte Blackburn and husband Wade of Kernersville, N.C.;
two grandchildren, one great-grandchild, two step grandchildren, and three step great-grandchildren.
Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
