Minnie spent much of her life working alongside her husband and sons on their farm, where they cultivated tobacco. Even in her later years, Minnie found joy in tending her garden, a reflection of her love for nurturing life.
After her retirement from Duracell, Minnie embraced her time with purpose and joy. She delivered Meals on Wheels, spreading kindness to those in need. She also enjoyed trips to Florida, camping adventures, and celebrating her birthdays with her cherished chicken stews, which became a beloved tradition.
Minnie was known for her warm smile and her ability to make everyone feel like a friend. Outgoing and loving, she touched the hearts of all who met her with her compassionate spirit. Always ready to lend a helping hand, Minnie exemplified generosity and kindness throughout her life.
She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, strength, and kindness will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lester Louie Lineberry, a son, James “Sonny” Lineberry, three brothers and five sisters.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, William “Bill” Lineberry (Peggy), Tommy Lineberry (Debbie), Tim Lineberry (Karen), Marshall Lineberry (Tracy), and Dean Lineberry; 21 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
The family would like to extend a special “thank you to the staff at Lexington Medical Center and the Rehab Department at Abbott’s Creek Center for their care and kindness to our Mom and family.”
Minnie will truly be missed by everyone who knew her and the light she gave will be carried on by all those she loved.
