Missy Hedrick-White

Melissa Layne Hedrick-White, 58, of Lexington went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 2, 2023.

A graveside service will be held at Salisbury National Cemetery at 11 am on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, with the Rev. Aaron Long officiating.

Missy was born in Davidson County on April 29, 1964, to JW Hedrick and Virginia Koontz Hedrick. She was a physical therapy technician, having worked for North Davidson Rehab, and was a member of Paul’s Chapel Reformed Church. Missy loved gardening, the beach, her work family, church family, and spending time with special friends. She was such a loving soul, and her memory will be cherished forevermore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, Jack Gregory White.

Left to cherish her memory are her siblings, Jay K. Hedrick, Belinda Dare Hedrick, Pam Hedrick Deitz (Nathan), and Gregory Neal Hedrick (Norma); her special nieces and nephews, Tiffany, Andie, April, Katie, Sterling, Lettie, Summer, Vada, Timothy, Lorna, and Bailey; and her special friends, Connie Petty (a sister friend), Suzanne Ketner, Millie Wattenbarger, and Tracy Nunn.
