Misty Morrison Lerch, a devoted woman of faith and a beloved member of her family and community, departed from this world to be with her Savior on Sunday, February 18, 2024.
A funeral service to honor and celebrate Misty's life will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at the Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, with Pastors Tony McCanless and Andy Clarke officiating. Burial will follow at the Lexington City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10 am until 11 am prior to the service at the funeral home.
Born in Davidson County on November 10, 1976, Misty was the cherished daughter of Thurman "Brady" Morrison, Jr. and Gloria Lopp Morrison. Misty's life was a testament to love, kindness, and devotion. She touched the hearts of many as a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her unwavering faith served as a guiding light in her life, inspiring those around her with her grace and compassion. She is preceded in death by her uncle, Larry D. Morrison, her aunt, Velma M. Craver; and her nephew, Jacob Strickland.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Steven Lerch, her devoted parents, Brady and Gloria Morrison, her sons Dakotah Morrison (Misty and Angel Beck) and Jaden Buller, her sister Stephanie Strickland (Mark), her uncle Wayne Morrison (Doris), and her nephews Aaron Beck, Dylan Beck (Emma), Landon Beck (Kimberly), Austin Strickland, and Casey Strickland.
The family extends their deepest gratitude to Dawn Jenkins for her compassionate care of Misty and her unwavering devotion. Her kindness and dedication brought comfort and solace during Misty's time of need.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to a trust fund for her son, Jaden Buller, at First National Bank in Lexington.
Misty's spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and faith will continue to inspire generations to come.
