Monte Martin

Monte Martin, 65 of Avenue A, Lexington passed away suddenly on Sunday May 4, 2014 at Wake Forest Baptist Lexington Medical Center. Per his request there will be no services. Monte was born in Walker County, AL on March 13, 1949 to J. D. Martin and Naomia Huffman Martin. He was employed at Beck’s Bait and Tackle Supply.Surviving are his son, Monte “Travis” Potts of Lexington, daughters Monica Martin of Strasburg, VA and Lisa King (Sam) of Lexington, grandchildren, Siobhan Arthur; Vernonica Martin; Matthew Eaton; Trevor Robert Martin; Ciara Rose King and Tanner Paul King, brother Roy Wayne Martin(Emma) of Lexington and sister, Dorothy Naomia Martin Hayes (Tommy) of Lexington, 5 nieces and special friends, Johnny “Popeye” and Tracy Hyatt and Candance , Brittany, Tabitha Hyatt and special friend Barry “Smokey”.
