Morris Hege

Mr. Morris Lane Hege, age 53 of Perryman Road, Lexington died Sunday, March 16 at Forsyth Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 19 at Good Hope United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Chris Bennett. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Hege was born in Forsyth County September 3, 1954 to Fred and Nannie Hanes Hege. He was a machinest at Leggett & Platt. He is survived by his mother, Nannie Hege, and his wife Sharon Deal Hege both of the home. Also surviving are daughters, Candace Vandermark and husband Joe of Welcome and Marcie Johnson and husband David of Lexington. Stepsons, Bradley Deal and Tad Deal both of Linwood and grandchildren, Joe Vandermark, Adam Vandermark, Jamie Jester and David Johnson, Jr. The family will see friends from 6:00 to 8:00 Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel and other times at the residence.
