Mozelle Hodges Campbell

Mozelle Hodges Campbell 80 went home to be with her Lord and Savior Monday February 23, 2015 at her home. A funeral service will be 2:00 pm Saturday at Union Grove Baptist Church where she was a member conducted by Revs. Ken Harris, T.W. Bailey and Rev. Dr. Harold Fletcher. Entombment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel Friday from 6 to 8 pm and other times at the home. Mozelle was born July 21, 1934 in Forsyth County to Claude and Clessie Hiatt Hodges and was a retired Secretary with Homestead Hills. Her parents, son in law, Gary Poindexter and a Grandson, Adam Poindexter all preceded her in death. Surviving are her loving husband of 55 years, James D. Campbell Sr. of the home. Sons: James D Campbell Jr. ( Laurie) of Kernesville and George Randall Hoffman ( Cathy) of Germanton. Daughters: Claudette Leigh Poindexter of Thomasville, Adele Bowman (Mark) and Sherri Lynn Bodenheimer (Errick) all of Lexington. 9 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
