Mozelle Perrell Leonard, 84, of Eastside Drive, died Friday, April 10, 2015, at Hinkle Hospice House. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday, April 13, 2015, at Second Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Brian Rummage officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 12, 2015. Mrs. Leonard was born June 22, 1930, in Davidson County to Joe Perrell and Isabel Hanes Perrell. She was retired from National Wholesale and was a member of Second Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Leonard Jr.; brother, Ralph Perrell; and sisters, JoAnne Giles, Mary Perrell and Opal Clinard; and brother-in-law, Larry Beck Surviving are sons, Craig Leonard and wife Pattie of Lexington and Perry Leonard and wife Sherry of Swansea, SC; daughters, Leigh Leonard Swicegood of Lexington and Dawn Leonard Robertson and husband William of Raleigh; son-in-law, Mike Swicegood of Lexington; grandchildren, Hannah Swicegood, Brandi Knight and husband Lee, Meagan Brown and husband, Shawn, Matthew Leonard, Charles Robertson and Lindsey Robertson; step-granddaughter, Ginger Tysinger and husband, Bradley; step-great-grandchildren, Millicent Tysinger and Avery Grae Tysinger; brothers, Woodrow Perrell and wife Marte’, Edward Perrell and wife Barbara, both of Lexington and Joel Perrell and wife Pat of Maryland; and sisters, Sue Beck and Bea Hughes, both of Lexington; and many nieces and nephews.
