Mutt Parker

June 26, 1927 — December 1, 2017

William Clyde “Mutt” Parker, 90, of Riverview Blvd, died Friday, December 01, at his home    A graveside service will be held at 4 pm Sunday, December 3 at Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery, by the Rev. Dr. Benjamin Boswell.    The family will receive friends from 2:30 to 3:30 pm Sunday at Davidson Funeral Home.    Mr. Parker was born June 26, 1927 to Johnny Richard Parker and Bessie Mae Tysinger Parker.  He was a veteran of the US Navy and retired from Kepley-Frank Hardwood.  His wife, Imogene Floyd Parker, his brothers, Irvin Parker and R.J. Parker, and his sister, Grace Parker, preceded him in death.    He is survived by his daughters, Rebecca Parker of Denton, and Jackie Shaw and Peggy Welborn, both of Lexington; his son, William Ralph Parker of Lexington; his brother, Tommy Parker of Lexington; nine grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
