Myra McCulloch Walton Zidzik, 81, of Wintergreen Court, died Monday, May 9, 2016, at Wake Forest Baptist Health – Lexington Medical Center.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday, May 12, 2016, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Dr. Ray N. Howell 3rd officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, May 11, 2016, from 5 to 7 p.m.
Mrs. Zidzik was born November 6, 1934, in Davidson County, to Preston Franklin McCulloch and Zela Mae Aaron McCulloch. She was retired from Thomasville Furniture Industries and a member of First Baptist Church in Lexington. At her church she was a member of Faithful Workers Sunday school class. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ronald J. Walton, who died August 23, 2007; sister, Gilda Gordon; and grandchild, Taylor Mathews.
Surviving are sons, Jeffery Bruce Walton of Florida, and Scott Walton of the home; daughters, Tracy Walton Livengood and husband Jimmy of Thomasville and Ann Marie Walton Baker and husband Lee of Hampstead; grandchildren, Zachary Baker, Derek Baker and Alec Baker; two great-grandchildren; and sisters, Kay Kepley of Lexington and Beth Koury of St. Louis, Mo.
