Myrtle Mae Milam Loman, 82, of John T. Farabee Lane, died Thursday, December 03, 2015, at Alston Brook Nursing Center.
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at Pilgrim Freewill Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. James Messer. Burial will be noon at National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and other times at the home.
Mrs. Loman was born February 22, 1933, in Davidson County, to Albert James Milam and Rebecca Moncus Milam. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, James Franklin Loman; brothers, Homer Milam and Bert Milam; and a sister, Frances Craver.
Surviving are son, Randy Loman and wife Crystal of Lexington; daughter, Gail Hayes and husband Ronnie, Becky Haralson and husband Gene, Shirley Blevins, all of Lexington, Cathy Carter and husband Lynn of Julian, and Tammy Tetter and husband Jeff of Linwood; 11 grandchildren; Maria Newton, Cindy Beasley, Angel Berry, Ron Hayes, Toni Hayes, Robert Freeman, Amber Foster, David Carter, Jeremy Loman, Miranda Loman and Matthew Tetter 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Nannie Purdue of Lexington; and sister-in-law, Janie Milam of Lexington.
