Myrtle Scott

Myrtle Irene Scott, 88, of Ernest Cook Road in Lexington, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday September 9, 2021.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. David Langley officiating services.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Monday September 13, 2021 at Wayside Baptist Tabernacle.

Mrs. Scott was born September 16, 1932 in Bear Wallow Mountain in West Virginia to Daniel Webster  Underwood and Jeanette Underwood. Myrtle attended services at Wayside Baptist Tabernacle in Lexington. She last worked at Childress Vineyards as a cook (Myrtles Kitchen).  Myrtle enjoyed Crocheting and Nascar in her spare time. Preceding her in death was her parents, her husband Clyde Edward Scott; her brother, Andy Underwood; sisters, Glenda Underwood and Virgie Rose Fontane; daughters, Kathy Elaine Mullins and Virgie (Libby) Justice Lester; a son Ronald Allen Mullins; son-in-law Lonzie Justice (Jr.) and a grandson Michael Joe Justice.

Surviviors include her children, Daniel Wayne Mullins, Janice Dianna Roberts, Judy Scott Boyer, Yvonne Scott Bloom, Joyce Scott Gunther, Jack Scott and Cecil Scott; and many grandchildren great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
