In loving memory of Myrtle Sue Templeton Styers, we announce her peaceful passing at her residence on High Rock Lake, NC, on the 18th of May, 2024. Born on August 20, 1935, Sue lived a full and meaningful life of 88 years, marked by her compassionate service as an Occupational RN and her affection for the simple joys of life.
Sue dedicated her professional life to the cate of others, working diligently with the employees of Gravely and various industrial establishments. Her commitment to nursing was not just a career; it was a calling that she fulfilled with grace and empathy.
Known for her love of puzzles, Sue approached each one with the same patience and attention to detail that she devoted to every aspect of her life. Her sense of style and elegance was surpassed only by her warmth and kindness she extended to all.
Sue’s memory will be forever treasured by her daughter, Cindy Bright; her grandchildren, Hannah and Tyler Bright; and her great-granddaughter, Milee Reece. She now joins in eternal rest her beloved husband, Frank Styers, after 63 blessed years of matrimony; her brothers, Gene and Durwood Templeton; her dear parents, Coyt and Reba Templeton; and her son-in-law, Sam Bright.
Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved her, yet we find solace in 5th enduring impact of her love and the memories we hold dear.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
