Nancy Carol Jenkins Coppley

Nancy Jenkins Coppley, age 72, of Palm Harbor, Florida formerly of Greensboro North Carolina, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2011, at Baycare Alliant Hospital in Dunedin, Florida. A graveside service will be 11 am Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at Forest Hill Memorial Park with the Rev. Gary Foster officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service. Mrs. Coppley was born October 4, 1938, in Davidson County, to John Lee Jenkins and Lillie Leonard Jenkins. She was a member of Palm Harbor United Methodist Church in Florida and retired office manager with Logan Systems in Greensboro and member of Business and Professional Women of the Triad, Inc. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Hazel Morris Hartley and Joan Keller. Surviving are one son Larry D. Coppley and wife, Norma, of Crystal Beach, Fl; three grandchildren, Nicholas Coppley and wife, Alicia, Adam Coppley and wife, Alicia, and Bryan Hodae and wife, Carolyn; three great-grandchildren, Brylee Hodae, Cambria Hodae and Austin Coppley; one sister, Ruth Hedrick and husband Leon of Lexington; one brother John “Johnny” Jenkins, Jr. and wife Janice of Lexington.
