Nancy Elizabeth Streetman Beck

Nancy Elizabeth Streetman Beck, 73, of Carolina House of Lexington, formerly of Fairview Drive, died Sunday, Nov. 5, 2006, at Carolina House after declining health of five months. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, by the Rev. Jim Martin. Burial will be in Forest Hill Memorial Park. Mrs. Beck was born in Davidson County on March 18, 1933, to James Henry Streetman and Rebecca Westmoreland Steetman. Before retirement she was a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. Her husband, Farrell Danny Beck Sr., and two brothers, Bud Streetman and Jim Streetman, preceded her in death. Surviving are one son, Danny Beck and his wife, Carmen, of Harrisburg; one daughter, Mary Layton and her husband, Graham, of High Point; three grandchildren, Daniel Beck, Brianna Beck and Nicolas Beck; one brother, Donald Streetman of Southmont; and two sisters, Martha Westmoreland of Gastonia and Patricia Dinken of Thomasville. The family will receive friends from 6-8 tonight at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.
