Nancy Ellis

Nancy DuFour Juckett Ellis, 73, Hedrick Drive, Thomasville passed away on Friday, March 29, 2019 at Piedmont Crossing, Thomasville.  A graveside celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Pocket Presbyterian Church in Sanford, NC.   Ms. Ellis was born March 3, 1946 in Warren County, NY to Kenneth Stanley and June Varney DuFour.  She was a retired Branch Office Administrator with Edward Jones and a member of Pocket Presbyterian Church, Sanford, NC. & Westminster Presbyterian in Greensboro, NC.  She was preceded in death by her husband, James (Jim) Ellis, brother, Mark DuFour and her parents.   Surviving are two daughters, Lynn Hooker (Brandon) of Sanford, NC Laura Juckett Harmon (Mike) of Lexington, NC three grandchildren, Amanda Ricketson, Jacob Cavanagh, Brandon “BJ” Hooker and five great grandchildren; and her sister, Carol DuFour Hewitt of Smithfield, NC
