Nancy Jo Thomason Franks

Nancy Jo Thomason Franks, age 75 of Arden Road, Lexington passed away Friday (March 27, 2015 at Hinkle Hospice House. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday (April 2, 2015) in the Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with Rev. Jason Koontz officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Wednesday night. Nancy was born in Davidson County August 21, 1939 to Charles Oliver and Lecy Potts Thomason. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church and a homemaker, where she was a dedicated wife and mother, to a retired Air Force Veteran, her husband Robert Lee Franks who preceded her in death in 1980, also by her parents; a son, Brian Keith Franks, infant children, Debbie and Mark Franks and a brother, Charles Thomason. Surviving are a daughter, Joni Duggins (Erik) of Linwood; sons, Roger and Charles Franks both of Lexington; 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Kay Story (Johnny) of Lexington and a brother, Danny Thomason (Janice) of Hawthorne, NV.
