Nancy Ann Grubb Garner

Nancy Ann Grubb Garner, 88, of Lexington, passed away March 27, 2022, at her home in Lexington.

A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday March 30, 2022, at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. David Crook. With burial to follow in the Bethesda United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 pm prior to service, and other times at the home on N. County Home Rd., Lexington.

Mrs. Garner was born October 30, 1933, in Davidson County, to Jacob Grubb and Rosa Long Grubb. Nancy was a devoted member of the church when she was able to attend. She was retired from Dixie Linwood. Her passion was her faith, church, family and especially her grandchildren. She loved animals and gardening, her joy for years was sending cards to the shut ins.  Nancy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and great grandmother, who will be missed by all. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Sherry Garner, brothers, John, Jim, and J.L Grubb and her sisters, Bessie Clark, Frances Younts.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband of 69 years, Fred Garner of the home, her daughters, Aimee Beck and husband Bryan, Stacey Ginn and son, Steve Garner and wife Glenna all of Lexington; grandchildren, Hannah Beck, Jessica Beck, Iva Beck, Brittany Shaw, Emily Todd, Charles Garner, Brian Garner also surviving are her great-grandchildren, Austin Garner, Jaxson Shaw and Jake Shaw.
