Nancy Neeb Gilchrist, 75, of Dearr Drive, died Monday, Feb. 15, 2010, at Rowan Regional Medical Center in Salisbury after several years of declining health.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Shady Side Presbyterian Church, where she was a member, by the Rev. Calvin Crump.
The family will receive friends at the home on Dearr Drive.
Mrs. Gilchrist was born Dec. 12, 1934, in Rush County, Ind., to Raymond Harold Neeb and Edna Mable Baker Neeb. She was a retired receptionist from Central Carolina Dermatology. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Alison Bruker, and three brothers, Charles Neeb, Richard Neeb and Jan Neeb.
Surviving are her husband, Robert A. Gilchrist Jr. of the home; sons Larry Wilson, Garry Wilson and Brian Wilson, all of Lexington; daughters Nanette Covington of Lexington and Karen Bruker of Augusta, Ga.; grandchildren Stephanie Hearn, Tara Pope, Caroline Bruker, Christy Covington, Colleen Bruker and Matthew Wilson; great-grandchildren Abigail, Jacob and Wilson Hearn and Dylan Pope; brothers Raymond Neeb II of Indianapolis, Ind., and Hugh Neeb and Pete Neeb, both of Shelbyville, Ind.; and sisters Ann McVey of Waldron, Ind., and Linda Beach of Shelbyville, Ind.
