Nancy Myers Jarrett

Nancy Myers Jarrett, 87, of East U.S. Highway 64, died Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at her home.

The funeral will be at 3pm Sunday, May 6 at Mt. Tabor United Church of Christ, where she was a member, by the Rev. Darrell Sluder. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church parlor.

Mrs. Jarrett was born March 22, 1931 in Davidson County to Wade Myers and Bessie Crotts Myers.  She was the former Executive Secretary for Jarrett Lumber Co.  Her husband, Gene Tuney Jarrett, and her son, Chris Jarrett, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Jarrett Mabry and husband Franklin of Lexington; her daughter-in-law, Linda Jarrett of Lexington; her grandchildren, Brent Jarrett (Roxanna), Greg Jarrett, Kim Nanney (Scott), and Tracey Whitley (Brad); her great-grandchildren, Trevor Nanney and fiancée, Tori Rhodes, Kyle Nanney, Andrew Whitley, Megan Whitley, Jacob Jarrett, Ashlyn Jarrett, Brandon Jarrett, Oceana Jarrett, and Dakota Monday; her sister, Polly Davis; and her sister in law, Charlotte Sparks (Bobby).

Memorials may be made to Mt. Tabor UCC New Building Fund or the Church Cemetery Fund, 1002 East Holly Grove Road, Lexington, NC 27292.
