Nancy Snider Kepley

Nancy Snider Kepley, 82, of Davidson County, passed away on April 28, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Ira Snider and Mary Sharpe Snider. She was raised in Welcome, NC. Nancy graduated from North Davidson High School in 1962 and continued her education at Ashmore Business College.

Over the years, Nancy worked with Lexington Telephone Company, Power and Telephone Supply, and also worked as a substitute teacher with Lexington City Schools. Through her work, she quietly contributed to her community and the lives of those around her.

Nancy found enjoyment in life’s simple pleasures. She liked being outdoors, especially gardening, and had a fondness for time spent at the beach. She also enjoyed shopping, watching birds at her feeders, and caring for her pets. She had an independent nature and moved through life in her own steady way.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years Clyde “Kep” Kepley Jr.; her sons, Clyde “Keppy” Kepley (Stephanie) and Mitchell Kepley (Erin); her grandchildren, Dustin (Kayla), Morgan, Katarina, Peyton, and Gracie; and her great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Canton, and Ridley.

Nancy loved and cared for her family. She will be remembered with respect and thoughtfulness by those who knew her.

Visitation will be held for family and friends at Davidson Funeral Home on May 6th, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at Lexington City Cemetary on May 7th, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
