Nancy Berrier Lockwood

Nancy Berrier Lockwood, age 71, of Harmon Road, Winston Salem, passed away Saturday morning, August 4, 2012 at Winston Salem Nursing and Rehabilitation.   A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at Faith Missionary Alliance Church with Rev. Michael Gates and Rev. Albert Smith officiating. Family will receive friends in the sanctuary from 10:00 until 11:00 am prior to the service.   Nancy was born in Davidson County, August 12, 1940 to Paul Wesley Berrier and Annie Snyder Berrier. She was a former employee of Goodwill Industries/Book Store. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Raymond John Lockwood and brother, Paul Wayne Berrier.   Surviving are her daughter, Sandra L. Nifong and husband Danny of Lexington; son, Mark Lockwood of Franklin; three grandchildren, Josh Lockwood, Matthew Nifong and Erin Nifong; sister, Rachel Cox of Burlington.   In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gideon’s International , PO Box 285, Lexington, NC 27293-0285   Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.   Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net.
