Nancy Yarbrough Lyon

Nancy Yarbrough Lyon age 75 of Carolina House died Wednesday afternoon after an extended illness. A memorial service will be 2pm Saturday August 29, at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel by the Rev. Jane Webb. Internment will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. Mrs. Lyon was born in Davidson County July 21, 1934 to Elmer and Virginia Nance Yarbrough. She was retired from Community Drug and was a member of Tyro United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John Glynn Lyon on July 12, 2007 and a sister Mary Virginia Yarbrough. Surviving are; son, Marty G. Lyon of Nashville Tenn.; daughter, Terri Lyon Hartman and husband, Randy of Lexington; two grandchildren, Zach and Jake Hartman; and a brother Edwin Yarbrough of Lexington. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel and other times at the home of the daughter, 6019 S. N.C. Hwy 150, Lexington.
