Nancy Smith Mcallester

Nancy Smith McAllester, 83 of Lexington passed into glory on Saturday, September 29, 2018. Nancy served faithfully with her husband as a pastor’s wife and teacher.

She was pre-deceased by her parents, Thomas and Mattie Smith of Dunkirk, NY, and her sister Mary Jean Lillie. She is survived by her husband, Pastor Wayne McAllester, her daughters, Kristen Turner (Randy), Janet McAllester, Sandra Spelbring (David), and Sharon Callahan (John); her sister, Sharon Fadale of Waxhaw, NC; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church, Welcome, NC on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends and family at 10:00 am before the service. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be designated to First Baptist Church PO Box 269, Welcome, NC 27374, for the Missions Scholarship Fund to help members on short term missionary trips.

Davidson Funeral Home-Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
