Nancy Louise Fishel Tulbert, 91, of Forsyth County, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 15, 2023.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Etta Mae Fishel, her beloved husband, Chester Clark Tulbert, a son, Gary Wayne Tulbert and brothers Robert “Bud” Hutchens and Sam Hutchens, and a sister, Margaret Edwards.
She is survived by her sons, James Clark (Linda) Tulbert, Joel Keith (Brenda) Tulbert, and daughters, Myra Elizabeth (Keith) Perryman, Kitty Mae (Bryan) Medlin, Jenny Lou Moretz, and a half-sister, Nancy Turner. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and her lovely canine companion, C.C.
Nancy was a dedicated Atlanta Braves fan. She was very active in her church. She loved to crochet and taught many people how to. She was also an amazing cook who made a wonderful Tomato Pie.
She was a caregiver and took care of her family. She was a seamstress and a very humble person and she loved going to family reunions.
After retirement, she and her husband bought a motorhome and traveled the country to see God’s Creation.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Nancy’s memory to Oak Forest United Methodist Church.
The staff of Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel will be serving the family.
