Nancy Tussey Everhart

Nancy Tussey Everhart, age 76 of Central Heights, Lexington died Monday, March 15, 2010 in Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center after six months of declining health. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Friday at DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL with Dr. Robert Floyd officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park.   Mrs. Everhart was born April 3, 1933 in Davidson County to Lacy Gilmore Tussey and Geneva Miller Tussey.  A homemaker, she was of the United Church of Christ faith. Preceding her in death was her husband, Ray Garland Everhart.   Surviving are two sons, Tim Everhart and wife, Jennifer of Charlotte; Jeff Everhart and wife, Ginger of Lexington; two granddaughters, Molly Everhart, Geneva Everhart; sister-in-law, Mary Allen and husband, George of Lexington; Nephew, Derek Stirewalt and wife, Elizabeth Phelan of Seattle, Washington; friends, Bob and Sandy Evans of Winston Salem, NC and Amy Cecil of Lexington.   The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday, March 18, 2010.   In Lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292
