Nancy Oakley Williams

Nancy Joyce Oakley Williams, age 69 of Lexington, NC, passed away, March 24, 2026, in Lexington, NC. 

She was born August 2, 1956, in Galax, VA, to the late Roy and Betty Oakley. She is survived by one son James "Jamie" Moore of the home; one daughter Victoria Eldridge of Kernersville, NC; 4 stepsons and spouses Jesse & Charlene Williams of Lexington, NC; Donald & Marsha Williams of Lexington, NC; Kevin Williams of Kernersville, NC; Benji & Jennifer of South Carolina. Four sisters and 3 brothers-in-law Judy Hash of Mouth of Wilson, VA; Sharon & Thomas Sheets of Woodlawn, VA; Karen & RJ Halsey of Galax, VA; Christina and Jason Petty of Austinville, VA and 1 brother Jimmy & KelliShae Oakley of Galax, VA; also survived by 5 grandsons and 2 granddaughters; 2 step granddaughters and 1 step grandson; 10 great grandchildren; 12 nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her husband James Williams; her parents, Roy & Betty Oakley; and 1 brother-in-law Ted Hash. 

The funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 28, 2026, graveside at Forest Hill in Lexington, NC with Chaplin Chris. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home. 

The family will have family and friends to the home following the service.
