Nandani Persaud Adinarain, 56, of Martin Luther King Blvd., died Friday, May 29, 2015, at Hinkle Hospice House following an extended illness.
A funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 6, 2015, at Davidson Funeral Home with Lionel Etwaru officiating. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home Friday from 5-8 pm and at other times at the home
Mrs. Adinarain was born October 16, 1958, in Guyana, to Moti Persaud and Lilly Persaud. She was a cook at Hardees for 10 years where she was known as Miss Nan. She enjoyed being around her family and friends.
Surviving are her husband, Venkasammy Adinarain whom she married August 28, 1978; her loving children, Ven and wife Naseema, Baruch and wife Dolly and Verbena and husband Rari, all of Lexington; grandchildren, Ashley, Ashton, Neya, Addison, Austin, Ianna and Arjuna; brothers, Wayne of Minnesota, Amar of New York; and sisters, Vedo and Judy of New York and Pet of Guyana.
