Nanette Covington

Nanette Elaine Wilson Covington, 59, of Lexington, passed away Thursday, September 7, 2017, at her home after several years of declining health.   A private celebration of life will be held to honor her memory.   Family and Friends are welcome at the home of Tara and Jeremy Pope, 149 First Circle, Lexington at any time.    Nanette was born on October 9, 1957 in Shelbyville, Indiana to Harold Wilson and Nancy Gilchrist. She worked as a personal care assistant seeing to the needs of others. Her mother,  Nancy Gilchrist, and a niece, Alison Bruker, preceded her in death.   Surviving are her Father, Harold Wilson of Lexington; life partner, Barry Cope of the home; daughters Tara Pope and Christy Covington of Lexington; grandchildren Dylan and Whitney Pope; Brothers Larry Wilson, Garry Wilson, and Brian Wilson, all of Lexington; and Sister Karen Bruker of Augusta, Georgia.
