Nankie Ramlall Manraj, 88, a resident of Lexington, passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Brookstone Retirement Center. A funeral service will be held on in Davidson Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at 10 am and will be livestreamed at www.facebook.com/davidson.funeralhome. Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 4-8 PM at the funeral home. She was born in Guyana, South America on February 17, 1933 to the late Rabi-Lall and Etwaria Ramlall. She worked in Home Healthcare for many years. Nankie was a happy person who loved to make people laugh. She enjoyed cooking, dancing, singing, and working. She was the wife of the late Butcher. Nankie is survived by her nine children, Drouptie, Sadia, Paro, Sattie, Sarwan, Ooma, Bill, Duck, and Nadia; her siblings, Patya, Pall, Ganie, Chan, Buckoo, Harold, Anall, Lall, Beamlall, Munilall, and Peter; twenty-four grandchildren; and twenty-nine great-grandchildren.
