Nannie Freedle Roberts

Nannie Freedle Roberts, 86, of Weaver Road in Lexington, died Wednesday September 1, 2021 at her home.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Friday September 3, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Welcome with Rev. Jonathan Goodman conducting services. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday at Davidson Funeral Home and at other times at the home of the son on Weaver Road.

Mrs. Roberts was born September 13, 1934 in Davidson County to Jesse Freedle and Sally Edna Craver Freedle. Nannie enjoyed spending her time gardening, cooking and shopping, and especially took great joy spending time with her granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother Floyd Freedle; and husband JR Roberts who passed away July 16, 2021.

Surviving is her son Steve Roberts (Tracy) of Weaver Road and her granddaughter Carley Mitchell (Chase).
